AMMAR HAJ AHMAD will be taking on the role of Safi, one of the jungle’s residents, in The Jungle at the Young Vic. Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin direct this co-production between the Young Vic, the National Theatre and the Good Chance Theatre. This production meets an array of refugees across the Channel trying to get in to the UK and the volunteers who are desperately trying to help them. The Jungle is a new play showing worlds colliding but also in the worst places you can meet the best people.
