Annette Badland is returning as magical Grandmother Ursula Crowe for a third series of the ever-popular Wizards vs Aliens on the CBBC channel on Monday evenings. A science fantasy series created by Russell T Davies and Phil Ford, Wizards vs Aliens centres on 16-year-old wizard Tom and his best friend Benny as they battle an alien species called the Nekross who have invaded Earth. We can’t wait to see how this season’s adventures pan out for the wizarding dynasty.
Jaye Jacobs starsin a brand new CBBC series called Millie Inbetween which airs on Wednesday evenings. A spinoff of the long-running Tracey Beaker series, Millie Inbetween follows 12-year-old Millie (played by Millie Innes) and her older sister Lauren as they become accustomed to their new lives after their parents’ divorce. Jaye plays Amber, Dad’s new love interest, who both girls think is totally out of his league.
Georgie Glen is appearing in the Disney Channel’s new mystery drama Evermoor. Produced by Lime Pictures and currently airing in the UK, US and Canada, the series follows an American teen, Tara, who moves from the US to an English village called Evermoor. We’ve been told that danger, mystery, and intrigue accompany their adventure so this is certainly one to catch for the kids.
