RICHARD CANT IS ALL SET TO, ONCE AGAIN, SPEND A NIGHT WITH REG

We are thrilled to announce that the Donmar Warehouse is transferring its recent revival of Kevin Elyot’s wickedly funny and deeply affecting My Night with Reg. Marking twenty years since it was first staged at the Royal Court, the play will open on 23 January 2015 at the Apollo Theatre. My Night with Reg defined a moment in the lives of gay men and became an instant classic. Set in the mid-80s during the height of the mounting AIDS crisis, the play examines the fallout within a group of gay friends after the apparent promiscuity of Reg, a core member but who, interestingly, never appears on stage. Richard Cant is set to reprise his role as Bernie and we’re sure he will receive as equally brilliant reviews as he did earlier in the summer.
